The implications of AI and how it will affect your career.

I'm not sure how many people realize, the implications of AI and how it will affect our jobs.
I'm not sure how many people realize, the implications of AI and how it will affect our jobs.

If you've been working for 30 years or more, you understand the difference in those who are employed at these companies and those who you started working with 30 years ago.

Society has changed.

Several decades ago, my dad left school in 10th grade to fight in world War II. A few years later he started working at the studios in the shipping department.

After only completing 9th grade with no college education, my dad worked his way up and became the executive vice President of the largest motion picture film lab in the world, deluxe laboratories aka (Color by deluxe).

My dad used to tell me he would apply for jobs that he wasn't qualified for and learn what he needed to know about the job, before he went to the interview.

(This is something I have done on many occasions)

He would say "When you get the job, if you show up every day, on time and work hard, you'll never lose that job.

My dad used to say, "if you stay at a company long enough, one day you'll be running the place".

Unfortunately the newer generations have relied on their phones and computers to do what they normally would do on their own, mainly use their brain.

Through movies and the media, society has been conditioned to believe the company should think of employees first and profits second.

During the past couple of decades it's been quite noticeable who, had and had not been conditioned.

From a company standpoint, employing people has many implications such as liability.

People don't always show up for work, they can get injured on the job, they may sue the company and with pay and benefits they cost an awful lot.

There is a solution for companies to eliminate these liabilities, it's called AI.

I'm not sure if people understand that when one company moves to AI all of the companies will move to AI.

Of course only the largest corporations will be able to afford the cost in replacing human workers.

But long-term the prophets will be much greater after eliminating all of the pay and benefits and of course liabilities when employing a human worker.

Unfortunately the companies that cannot afford to move to AI will be eliminated.

Those big corporations that can afford to invest in AI will be able to undercut the competition, which will put the competition out of business and allow those larger corporations to swallow up the smaller corporations.

This process will happen quickly.

I went to a Teamsters Union meeting yesterday.

I had already known what the union was going to do before I got there since I had seen unions make deals with companies which were not in the best interest of the employees.

Of course there were many people who wanted me to show up, because of my big mouth LOL Which is probably the reason why the day of the meeting the tire on my truck was flattened in the parking lot at work

I realized everybody was already sold on a contract, which only benefited certain employees, but didn't protect any employees from the company moving to another facility, built specifically for AI.

Of course I had to open my big mouth and ask the one holding the meeting if they had a forecast on when AI was going to be implemented, so people voting for this new contract were protected from the inevitable.

Of course he didn't have an answer for that and quickly told everyone he would only answer four more questions, before the vote LOL

Those who were upset with the contract didn't vote for some reason, which was kind of foolish.

I didn't stay for the vote tally, but I was told there was only one vote against the contract, can you figure out who that vote was from? LOL

Most people may not realize that once AI is implemented not many of us will have a job.

What will we do to survive?

Socialism.

I don't know if you remember when Democrats told us we would not be moving to socialism.

A couple of years later, they then told us there is nothing wrong with socialism, and now it may be the only answer for a manufactured problem, created by those who control us.

So at what point do you start planning for when this transition takes place

You can listen to the news, listen to people that tell you what you want to hear, or do the research you need to do yourself, in order to prepare for the inevitable, before it's too late.

It's coming and will be here, sooner than you may think
